Mona is an award-winning entrepreneur and visionary thinker. She uses her creativity and background in design to find unconventional ways of problem-solving. Mona sees people as part of the solution and facilitates creative capacity building and co-creation that lead to high adoption and acceptance of novel solutions.

Eleonora Berra

Eleonora Berra

Co-Founder, Communications

Eleonora holds a masters degree in interaction design and animation. Eleonora and Mona founded the Mosan GmbH in 2016 and conducted the early pilot studies in Kenya. Eleonora's role is marketing, communication and story telling.

Martha Gómez

Martha Gómez

Operational Lead, Community Work

Martha is an environmental expert with experience in solid waste, sanitation and agroforestry. Martha’s career working in municipalities managing projects with large teams and her experience with vulnerable groups make her the perfect operational lead for the Mosan service and community work.

David Maldonado

David Maldonado

Strategy, Finance, Business Modeling

David studied Electronic Engineering and Entrepreneurship at Universidad Francisco Marroquín in Guatemala. He is a true creative and strategic thinker with entrepreneurial spirit. He founded 2 start-ups in Guatemala before he joined Mosan to innovate the Business Model, strategize, and expand the network.

Marvin Mérida

Marvin Mérida

Lead of Transformation Center

Marvin studied environmental engineering. Marvin is a true maker and the design engineer in the team. His passion for designing tools and protecting the environment are a priceless combination. In addition to Spanish Marvin also speaks the indigenous language Kaqchikel, which allows him to support community work with local groups.

Reto Wey

Reto Wey

Advisor: Strategy, Networking

Reto supports Mosan in many ways. His background working in investment banking and his great passion to tackle the sanitation crisis drive him to advise Mosan on the topics: strategy, business development, and climate impact. Reto loves traveling and you will probably meet him at the next conference.
